A real LT-1 had a four bolt main block.
Yes.
The GM F Body LT1 cars got the 2 bolt mains. Only the Corvette LT1 got the 4 bolt mains with aluminum heads.
lt1 is a 350
The block, itself, for the LT-1 in 70, was nothing special, other than a 4 bolt main cap. Now, the serial numbers, and casting date will be different, and will eliminate any "numbers matching" type of thing, but, other than that, if the 76 is a four bolt main, then yeah, they are the same.

yes it will fit any Chevrolet transmission will bolt up to any Chevrolet engine except for lt1 and ls motors
heads and intake lets not forget that the LT1 uses a reverse pattern cooling system, a gear driven water pump, an optispark which utilizes an optical pickup, a 1 piece rear main seal (prior to 1986 was a 2 piece), and centerbolt heads (different bolt pattern) than a standard 350 block... not mentioning the opti is located on the FRONT of the motor UNDER the water pump :)

will a 1995 Chevy 350 lt1 motor work in a 1990 Chevy pick up
Yes as long as the intake is not off of an LT1.. The intake in an LT1 350 is for a reverse cooling engine and doesn't have the same coolant passages, as well as not having a hole for the distributor.. LT1 used Opti-spark..
LT1 350
