Air in the brake lines. Severly worn break pads. Worn brake boost piston. Cracked brake line on that brake. Loose brake line.
A brake line may be broken missing or loose.
Loose connection? Stripped fitting (cross threaded or overtightened) Broken brake line?
When a brake line is leaking on the Chevy Venture the brake line should be replaced as soon as possible. A leak, however small, can cause hydraulic fluid to escape the brake line which will cause a loss in brake pressure. The brakes should be bled of air after the new line is put in to remove gaps in brake pedal pressure.
The cost to repair a brake line will depend on the make and model of the car. Without further details it is not possible to give an estimate.
Either the brake line is snapped or, if it's a lever e-brake, the nut is loose inside the lever box. Your rear brakes may also need to be replaced or adjusted.
You need line wrenches or another name for it is flair nut wrench. They are a special in line wrench made to brake loose any kind of line like fuel lines hydrolic lines brake lines ect... It keeps you from stripping them. All you need to do with them is brake it loose then you can use a regular wrench to finish the job. Also use them to tighten the lines.
It could break, rust through, or get cut by an impact.
I assume you are asking about the brake pedal. Might be due to low/no brake fluid in the reservoir, air in the brake line, possible leak in the brake line, or the master cylinder may not be working properly,
Because there are a leaking vacum line or loose hose from the inlet manifool to the brake Boster hose. Check for leaking air or loose clamps to the hose
Take it loose from brake cailber, Then follow it up to the frame it will hook up to a medal line. Take it loose there, There is a medal clip there that's holds it to the frame remove that with a screew driver, it is a little trickey. It will slide out of the bracket. Then install new one and bleed brakes.
Bleeder port may be blocked. Try breaking the brake line loose and see if you get fluid that way. Good luck!
