The oil pressure sender or switch is located at the rear of the engine, behind the distributor.
it is under the intake on the driver side next to the firewall along with the oil sending unit, they are side by side
On your 4.0 L - OHV engine , the oil pressure sending unit is on the drivers side of the engine , below the power steering pump
On my 1995 Ford Explorer, with the 4.0 L OHV engine, the sending unit for the oil pressure guage is located just below the power steering pump.

Coolant temperature sending unit is located on the front of the engine. The cooling temperature sending unit will be on the right hand side of the engine.
I believe it is on the side of the throttle body
