Filter needs cleaning filter needs changing and also hydraulic oil. on my 1975 830 their is also a strainer that needs to be cleaned with diesel fuel. it is under the tractor and has a allen head that you take loose to remove it.
If you are talking about the Scotts S1642 made by John Deere, there is no fuel pump. It is a gravity fed system

Oh, dude, the hydraulic fluid reservoir on a John Deere 950 is usually located near the back of the tractor, like towards the rear axle. It's like this big tank where the hydraulic fluid hangs out and does its thing, you know? Just look for a big ol' tank with some tubes coming out of it, and you've found your hydraulic fluid reservoir!
