It could be a bad bulb, a bad ballast, or a bad ground.
A dim headlamp on one side could be due to a few reasons: a faulty bulb or LED, a poor connection in the wiring, or corrosion at the contact points. If the headlamp uses a lens, dirt or moisture buildup could also affect brightness. Checking the connections and replacing any damaged parts can help resolve the issue.
Check your ground wire for that particular headlamp.
Open hood. On the inside (toward the center of the car) of each headlamp is a plastic clamp fixing one side of the headlamp. On the ouside from the top unscrew the bolt holding the other side of the headlamp assembly. Lift the lamp assembly out of the car and remove (pull off)the connector to the bulb. Next peal the rubber boot from the back of the headlamp assembly. This will expose a spring clip that holds the halogin bulb in the headlamp assembly. Remove bub and replace with a new bulb being carefull to only touch the bulb by its metal base connector. Do not touch the glass areas.
2000 dodge ram wiring rear end tail ligts dim and right blinker works but very dim
Headlamp bulbs are standardized in the industry. That means one bulb will fit a great number of different makes and models. The number is simply the part number used in your car.
In the 2009 the horn (pathetic thing that it is) is under the drivers side headlamp. The headlamp comes out with two screws on the top and you might need to remove the plastic buttons to allow the front grill to flex a little to get the headlamp out. I have not located the SPST relay yet, if there is one.
1) bad bulb - try switching them 2) bad ground
One has several options to do this activity. One could put the car in a box and tilt the box from side to side. One could hold the car tight and tilt it from side to side. One could try to balance the car on top of something high by putting the car on the edge of the cliff.
To change the complete headlamp unit on a Vauxhall Corsa, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed. Remove the screws or clips securing the headlamp unit, usually found at the top and side, and disconnect the wiring harness. Carefully pull out the headlamp unit and replace it with the new one, reconnect the wiring, and secure it with the screws or clips. Finally, test the headlamp to ensure it functions correctly before closing the hood.
in order to change a side marker lamp on a jeep grand cherokee, you must remove the actual headlamp via the bolts on top and the one underneath... fairly easily accesible. then there is one bolt on the top side ot the marker lamp and one from behind that can only be accesible after the headlamp is removed, sounds harder then it actually is, take the headlight out and it will be foolproof from there
Fuse is bad for that side.. Check it, under the hood fuse box. Just fixed mine.
Assuming I understand your question: The brakes are worn on one side because they are only or primarily working on that side. This should cause the car to pull toward that side when braking.
