If the AC blower on a 1999 Ford Contour only operates on high, it's likely due to a faulty blower motor resistor. The resistor controls the speed of the blower motor at different settings, and when it fails, the blower may default to just the highest speed. Another possibility could be a malfunctioning blower motor switch or wiring issue. Checking and replacing the resistor is often the first step in troubleshooting this problem.
Bad blower resistor. I just replaced mine.
The blower motor resistor is defective.
needs new blower resistor
the blower resistor is bypassed on high. a direct path to ground. if high is the only operational speed the resistor is bad.
More than likely the blower motor speed resistor burned out.
ABS and blower motor are unrelated. To fix blower motor, read this:http://www.ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/diagnostics/blower-only-works-on-high-speed
blower motor resistor is bad
you need a new blower motor resistor
Blower speed resister is burned out.
Figured it out...the blend door actuator was not fully seated when I replaced it.
The blower motor speed resister is probably burned out.
Bad blower resistor? Bad low speed relay? Bad switch?
