You can grow it by pouring water on a piece of bread. Then stick the piece of bread in a tupperware container for a few days. Then you should have bread mold. Hope this helps
Coke would make mold grow faster... Sugar is food for the mold/fungus. Therefore, Coke with its high sugar content would make it grow faster.
The fastest way to grow mold on bread is to cut an orange in half, because of the sodium the mold will grow more and faster. then pour some orange juice (fresh squeezed) and leave the orange on top of the bread. you will start to see mold on it in a few days! hey by the way, i have an experiment on it later on, in school so i would have put the picture of the mold but someone has to answer this quickly, am i right?
Oranges can grow mold better because an orange does not have any preservatives, unlike some bread and stupid idiots..., or cheese. Preservatives help the food not mold or grow fungus. -P.S. I am in 7th grade and i learned about this today in class, i am doing a project on it. Hope it answered your question. -Oranges can grow mold, as long as mold spores are present. Mold will grow best once the orange begins to decompose (preservatives don't last forever, therefore mold may grow on any decomposing organic matter)
no it is almost impossible for mold to grow at room temperature
As the fungal hyphae expand into the orange, they produce enzymes. These enzymes break down different chemicals in the orange. The degraded chemicals are then absorbed by the hyphae to be used as food.
yes, mold can grow on oranges in water... I did this experiment in school in 2nd grade... after the experiment i tested my self to see what i learned i got this question right...
Foods in the dairy and grain food groups can grow mold.
This depends on the mold. eg: Bread molds grow on bread.
When mold is in the outdoor, when they grow in the outdoor, it is called outdoor mold. Actually where there is food molds grow there.

Its because of the time made the more you wait the more mold ttry an experiment!!!...You will SEEEE
Well, hyphae (AKA the roots to mold) grow on food or other areas because of mainly where it is. The colder the climate the most likely that mold WON'T grow
the reason soda makes mold grow faster is because soda is high in sugar and sugar is food for mold.
i beleive so
little white and fluffly dots at first that grow larger and get a blue center
Mold get their foods from where they grow. They just live on another living body and take food and reproduce.
Mold grows on any porous material where there is food (such as water) and breeding grounds.
