I cough a lot and I've been coughing for 2 weeks now I'm 13 and how can i fix this I'm sick of coughing all the time please help me?

I'm 13 :) well i had this problem about a year ago and mine just went so i think leaving it and not having any medication works well also make sure u drink lots of water And while u still have your cough , cough lots in lessons so you can annoy your teachers
