If we use distill water in gram staining instead of alcohol then both gram +ve and gram -ve will appear blue as distilled water is not able to remove crystal violet from cell wall and so when we counter stain the cell with safranin it will give no effect of that and cell show only blue colour
The same color, as the gram negative bacteria would not have enough stain washed away to assume their lighter shade. Remember, the thickness and construction of the peptidoglycan that forms the walls of the two types of bacteria varies significantly. Gram positive bacteria have the single, thick wall. Gram negative have a thinner and double wall that does not retain the stain as well.
i believe it is a gram bacteria which causes respiratory illness.
urease negative
The Bacteria Sarcina lutea is Gram Positive Because If You Perform the Gram Test It Will Turn The Violet Color Which indicates It's Positiveness. What Makes It Positive Is the Peptidoglycan Located Within The The Bacterium
Yes. The gram stain procedure separates all bacteria into one of two groups - into gram-negative bacteria which do not stain purple and into gram-positive cells which do stain purple. In structural terms, the ability of a cell to become stained during the gram stain procedure is due to the chemical makeup of the cell wall.
Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria are different in their colouration when dyed and viewed with a light microscope. Gram-positive appear violet, and Gram-negative appear red. Gram-positive and Gram-negative classification, however, has nothing to do with size.
to eliminate gram positive bacteria from a mixture of grampositive and gram negative bacteria which procedure would be best first treatment with mild detergent or lysoyme
The positive aspect about bacteria is that weak bacteria can be used to prevent or defend against other bacteria that harms the body which is the negative aspect of bacteria.
i believe it is a gram bacteria which causes respiratory illness.
no changes
gram positive bacteria
it is positive
A guess ;positive or negative bacteria spider(insect).
Gram positive bacteria responds to the Gram stain; gram negative bacteria does not. The two bacteria do not respond to the same antibiotics. Right now the most dangerous bacteria is a gram negative bacteria. That could change.
Tetracycline kills both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. The mode of action to which Tetracycline works to kill bacteria is that it inhibits protein synthesis which works against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
