Transcription is when the "message" is copied from the DNA template to the mRNA molecule. The message will be 'in reverse' because the mRNA is made by stringing together the opposite base in the pair from what is coded in the DNA. When the mRNA in translated into amino acids, the message will be 'reversed' again to matching what the DNA strand stated.

Transcription is the process by which the genetic information in DNA is written to the m-RNA. The m-RNA molecule then passes on the information to t-RNA which writes it to r-RNA. The r-RNA reads the codon sequence and attaches the corresponding amino acid molecule to the protein chain.

Transcription is the process where the "genetic information" from DNA is copied to a single-strand molecule called RNA. The sequence of nucleotides carried by RNA molecule will be "read" during Translation process in order to translate it from nucleotide sequence into an amino acid sequence. In other words, from a nucleic acid molecule into a protein molecule.
