It sounds like you're describing constipation. After surgery it is very common to experience constipation from the anesthesia and pain medications. Be sure you are drinking 6-8 8oz glasses of water, eating fiber filled foods, and trying to walk (stimulates bowels). If this does not work, you can try the natural route, eat Prunes or drink Prune Juice (works even better if you warm it up). Or you can always purchase a stool softener or laxative from your local pharmacy. If you skip more than 3-4 days, please consult your MD. You really don't want to strain after abdominal surgery, please take care of yourself.
I had (2) hernia surgery removal & was cut @ (5) times . Hospitalized (5) days & released for home Afterward minor pain but could not use the toilet ( bowl movement) for @ ( 11 ) days. Yr-2015 now still have stomach pain ( slightly) My Age ( 83 )yr
I had a large ventral hernia repaired with Alloderm in February of 2009. It has now been one year & I am still having significant issues with ongoing abdominal pain. Doctors are not willing to say if this is "normal", but I'm beginning to believe it is more common than the doctors would have you believe prior to the surgery.
I actually have a umbilical hernia at the moment. It hurts and is pushing out. Unfortunately I don't have insurance so I'm probably going to end up going into the emergency room. Wish we had free health care like Canada. You can't heal the hernia with exercise. A hernia is basically a tear in the abdominal muscle. The large intestine usually pushes at the weak spots of your stomach and if you do lots of sit ups and you have a weak spot it can actually cause you to get a hernia from the pressure. Now if you have a bulge the size of a grape or bigger surgery is going to be mandatory. If you don't get surgery you may end up causing the intestine to strangle itself and can even cause death. Exercise like sit-ups are great if you don't have an existing hernia because it strengthens your abdominal muscles and that can help you prevent a hernia.
yes, it harms the nasal cavity and can lead to nasal cancer.

Can you get an umbilical hernia twice? I had an umbilical hernia 29 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. It was repaired at the time but now I feel the same type of pain and wondered if I have another hernia.
Because someone is using water somewhere else. For instance, if you are having a shower and someone flushes the toilet, the water going to the shower is decreased because some is going to the toilet now.
It shouldn't be more risky than other surgeries as it should be fairly minor to repair a hernia.
It is now considered that it is better not to have surgery if a hernia is small and painless. Up to 30 percent of groin hernia operations can lead to long-term pain or disability.Nowadays it's a question of weighing up the pros and cons of living with a hernia compared with the risk of the surgery going wrong. If a hernia is causing no problems, it can be safely left alone. If you have a reducible hernia (this means that the hernia can be pushed all the way back in) you may benefit from wearing a hernia support. You should choose one that is guaranteed to securely hold the hernia in all positions of the body and during all activities. Keeping a hernia in may prevent it from getting larger, and some individuals have reported that small hernias have disappeared.
If the hernia is along the line of the surgical wound it is more likely to be an incisional hernia.
Although there are many different kinds of hernias and a few different types of procedures, as well as variations between surgeons skills, most hernia surgeries take about 45 minutes, excluding pre-operative preparation (often referred to as "pre-op" or "prep") times, complications during surgery (very rare), and post-operative (or "post-op") recovery times.

If it is just the toilet that doesn't have water, then the pipes are probably not frozen. If it is the whole house than maybe yes. If you have water at other faucets, look at the toilet and see where the blockage is. Disconnect the supply line under the tank and see if water is coming through the shut off at the toilet if there is one.
