A trim pump allows your outboard engine to lift off the water on a Y axis. As your craft gains momentum, you can lift it a bit to ensure you have as much thrust as you can have.
Underneath the steering wheel, behind all of the trim. You need to unscrew all of the trim and pull it off to get to it.
Get the air out first..
fuel pump relay is behind left hand trim panel in the wagon section
In the trunk on the passenger side under the trim/carpet.
It's in the trunk. Right side behind the interior trunk trim.
Behind the trim panel by the drivers left foot
remove rear compartment floor trim remove greenish colored cover screws remove cover remove screws from pump assy and lift out.
Where you add washer fluid in the back bottle, the bottle has the pump on the bottom of it. You will have to take the inside trim panel off to take the bottle out.
The fuel pump relay on a 1999 Ford Mustang GT has a returnless fuel system which uses a Fuel Pump Driver Module. It is located underneath the luggage compartment trim panel.
To get to the pump: Remove front driver-side wheel Remove Wheel arch trim, normally only 3-4 plastic retainers and the pump is visible towards the front of the cavity Hope this helps 80)
