For one source the cost was roughly $0.08 and in another it is roughly $0.24.

Tin comes in high purity, analytical reagent grade, bench reagent grade, and industrial grade.

The cost per gram decreases steeply as the purity decreases in that order, and there may also be a smaller decrease in cost per gram for larger quantities.
