For me, the best part of Koh Lanta was how peaceful and unhurried the whole island felt. Kantiang Bay easily stood out with its soft sand, clear water, and some of the most beautiful sunsets I saw in Thailand. I also loved spending time around Lanta Old Town where the atmosphere feels slower and more local, with little cafés and wooden houses sitting right over the water. What really makes Koh Lanta special though is the overall vibe of the island. Some of my favorite moments were just riding around on a scooter, stopping at random beaches, and finding quiet sunset spots along the coast. While planning my trip, I actually came across a Koh Lanta itinerary on Pinerary and liked that it focused more on experiencing the island naturally instead of rushing through tourist attractions.
