Ice actually has a lower density than water. The warm water at the top of the ocean sinks towards the bottom where it is very, very cold... but not freezing cold. If ice could exist in the abyss, it already would... all those icebergs and things would have sunk to the bottom of the ocean if water applied to the same rule as most other substances (becoming more dense when it hits its freezing point). So, more or less, if it could freeze there it would all float to the top.
No, adding water to sand will not cause the mixture to freeze. Freezing occurs when water reaches a temperature below 32°F (0°C). Sand alone does not have a freezing point, but the water within the sand can freeze if the temperature drops low enough.
Water freezes before salt water because adding salt lowers the freezing point of water. This means that salt water needs to reach a lower temperature in order to freeze compared to pure water. As a result, pure water will freeze at a higher temperature than salt water.
Salt water freezes at a lower temperature than regular water, so it will take longer for salt water to freeze compared to pure water. The exact time can vary based on the salt concentration, but generally, salt water will take longer to freeze due to its lower freezing point.
The time it takes for water with orange juice to freeze will depend on the temperature of the freezer, the size and shape of the container, and the proportion of orange juice to water. Generally, it may take a few hours to overnight for the mixture to freeze completely.
Water with a high salt content, such as seawater or brine, will have a lower freezing point compared to pure water. This means it will remain in liquid form at lower temperatures than pure water.
there is to much preasure down there. ice has to have a way to expand when it frezes. if there is too much water on top of it, it cant expand because of all of the weight.
Nobody knows unless you contact the manufacturer of the slide (White Water West), but what I do know is that the Leap of Faith slide is steeper than The Abyss, its just that The Abyss is longer, and taller than the Leap of Faith.

Water does not freeze instantly..
if you add salt to water, it will freeze at a lower temperature.. i do not think it is possible at a temperature below zero degrees.
Pure water freeze faster.
No, boiling water cannot freeze in the air. Boiling water needs to cool down before it can freeze, and the air is not cold enough to freeze boiling water instantly.
water will freeze when it is at its freezing point which is 0 degrees
When you freeze water, you create ice.
You can freeze anything with water in it. Pineapple does have water, so if you drop the temperature low enough, it will freeze.
