i dont think it would be poisonous. depending on how big the rat is, i dont think it could even eat an acorn!
Well as I've read, acorns have a chemical in them called "Tannin", which can be toxic in large doses, but for the most part a rat could eat them in the same abundance as a squirrel without any ill effects.
