To send and receive email, the primary ports that need to be open are TCP port 25 for SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) used for sending mail, and TCP port 143 for IMAP (internet Message Access Protocol) or TCP port 110 for POP3 (Post Office Protocol) used for receiving mail. Additionally, secure connections often utilize TCP port 587 for SMTP with encryption and TCP port 993 for IMAP over SSL. Ensuring these ports are open allows for proper email communication.
This depends on where (which country) you are sending your mail from.
When you are sending mail internationally, you use the stamps of the country you're sending FROM, not the country you're sending to.
Does anyone have the answer to this question please? Need it for my c/wrk. Thanks
Yes if you're using the mail. If you are emailing, its free =P
if you're sending it by mail- yes. If you're just giving it to them then no :)
Special courier would be faster. Registered mail is sent by the same method of sending 'ordinary' mail - except it requires a signature on receipt. Couriers can deliver mail within an hour depending on the distance they need to travel.
You will need a computer program or a web browser to send an e-mail. There are many e-mail clients (programs) that can be used for sending an e-mail. You can also used a web-based service to send an e-mail using your web browser. An e-mail client needs to communicate through an e-mail server for sending the message. Your client sends the message to your e-mail server. Your e-mail server sends the message through the Internet to the recipient's e-mail server, where it is stored until the recipient retrieves it. When sending a message, you need to enter the e-mail address of the recipient, a subject, and a message. You can enter several recipients at the same time. A proper e-mail address must have the recipient's user name, an ampersand "@" in the middle, and followed by a domain name. It should look similar to the following: my.friend@gmail.com An e-mail address must not have any spaces in it.
I work for Genentech you just have to contact the sender if it is a direct email. If it is an automatic email then you need to contact the senior administrative associate of that department. Same if it is postal mail. Hope this helps
All national ports have been closed.I need more USB ports on my laptop.
To send a document via certified mail, you need to go to the post office and fill out a certified mail form. You will then receive a tracking number and a receipt. The document will be stamped with a certified mail label and delivered with a signature required for proof of delivery.
You do need to have your ID for MoneyGram. When sending and receiving money, the sender and receivers ID must match exactly. This measure is put in place to prevent fraudulent activity.
Web servers and mail servers can co-exist on the same machine because they use different ports. The standard port for HTTP is 80, and the standard ports for mail are SMTP 25 and POP3 110.
