If the clock in your Renault Clio won't turn off, it may be due to a malfunctioning battery saver feature or an electrical issue. Check if the ignition is off, as some models keep the clock powered when the car is off. If the problem persists, it could be a faulty clock module or a wiring issue; in this case, consulting a mechanic or an auto electrician is advisable. Additionally, disconnecting the battery for a short period may reset the system and resolve the issue.
To change the bulb on the radio clock temperature gauge display in a Renault Clio, first, disconnect the car battery for safety. Then, remove the dashboard trim around the display, typically by unscrewing or unclipping it. Once the trim is off, locate the bulb holder at the back of the display, twist it to remove, and replace the old bulb with a new one. Finally, reassemble the dashboard and reconnect the battery.
on my old 1.2 clio the battery light came on as there was fault with the alternator and it needed replacing. As far as i know the battery light comes on when the battery is not charging or there is a fault with the battery.

On my clio there is a vertical post besides the battery. This will actually undo if you place a socket on top. Approx 7mm socket will remove the post and therefore clamp at bottom.

To remove the clock from a Renault Clio, you typically need to access the dashboard assembly. Start by carefully prying off the trim panel surrounding the clock using a flat tool to avoid damage. Once exposed, you can unscrew the clock unit from its housing and disconnect the wiring harness. It’s advisable to consult the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions related to your model year.
hi you havent said what year your clio is but if it is pre 1998 mk3 it has a long 7mm bolt between the battery and relay box assenger side of battery good luck. On 1998+ Clio 2s, there is a bolt between the battery and the electrics box. It's on the passenger side too. To unscrew the bolt, you'll need a 13mm spanner, although it's sort of blocked by the battery, so ideally you'll have a wrench with a screwdriver handle so you can get down there easier. Hooray!
