Oh, honey, you want that prime rib to be juicy and tender? Well, with a Ronco rotisserie, you'll want to cook that bad boy for about 15-20 minutes per pound for a medium-rare result. Just make sure to use a meat thermometer to check for that perfect doneness, unless you want your prime rib to be as dry as the Sahara desert.
Ronco's time charts are in the owner's manual which can be viewed at http://www.ronco.com/rco_manuals2.aspx Scroll down that page on that website to see the time chart.

My rotisserie book states 18 minutes a lb for rare, 19 for medium and 20 for well. But I check with a meat thermometer at the rare mark and take it out to sit for 10 minutes.
This really depends on how strong your vertical rotisserie is. A 25 turkey is a very large turkey and would need a great amount of cooking time. Most household rotisseries only cook up to 8 pounds at a time.
Roasting your favorite food items has never been easier, thanks to rotisseries. You can now have perfectly-roasted dishes from the comfort of your own home, with minor hassle and less expenses. Aside from having delectable food, cooking in a rotisserie would ensure that you eat healthy food items, as the oil drips from the ingredients as they are slowly turned in the rotisserie. When you have this kitchen gadget, you should take the time to get to know how to properly operate it so you get the most out of the rotisserie. Step 1: Using the rotisserie spit stick; pierce the food item that you are planning on roasting. Place the food to the center of the spit, and then move it to the middle part of the rotisserie oven. Make sure that you check the size of your rotisserie first before buying the meat that you plan on cooking – the size of the meat should be fully dependent on the size of the rotisserie. Step 2: Make sure that the drip pan is in place underneath the rotisserie, to catch the juices and any drippings that might come out of the meat while it is cooking. Step 3: Regularly check on the food that is being cooked inside the rotisserie. The cooking time may vary, and in reality may be faster, as the rotating mechanism ensures that faster cooking is achieved. You can check on the food after about 45 minutes; if the meat needs to be re-positioned, do this and then check on it again after another 20 minutes. Step 4: To make sure that the meat is already cooked inside, puncture a small hole deep into the meat. If the juices run clear, the meat is already properly cooked through. However, if the juice is still a bit red or bloody, you still need to cook it for a few more minutes. Step 5: Protect your hands when removing the food from the rotisserie. It is best to wear oven mittens or a dry rag when reaching for the food item, as all parts of the rotisserie are most likely still extremely hot. Step 6: After cooking, remove all the detachable parts of the rotisserie and soak them in water with detergent for a couple of minutes. Don’t forget to wipe the inside of the rotisserie as well, as there may be some drippings or meat juice that splattered on the walls and other surfaces. Step 7: Make sure that the oven is unplugged and that all the knobs are turned to their starting positions before storing it for the next use. Knowing how to properly use a rotisserie can lead to countless delicious and healthy meals for you and your loved ones. The oven can be your best friend in the kitchen, as long as you have mastered its use
Show Time Rotisserie requires 20 minutes per pound for a Beef Tri-Tip. A three pound Tri-Tip would require one hour cooking time plus a 5 to 10 minute "rest" time. If you want it slightly less cooked, use 18 minutes per pound. When your Show Time Rotisserie reaches the end of the cook time QUICKLY add an additional ten minutes on the timer so the rotation starts again AND move the switch from "Normal Rotation" to "No heat Rotation". This allows the natural juices to baste the Tri-Tip as it cools for that ten minutes of rest time. If you don't do this you'll notice the drippings continually dropping onto the roosting plate and sizzling as it's moisture is instantly vaporized and the natural grease is cooled and drops into the roasting pan below. Trust me on this one. I've been making perfect Tri-Tips every time for over 25 years on the Show Time Rotisserie. One great product I swear by even if the only thing you ever cook with it is Tri-Tip.
Prime rib, which is typically eaten rare, should be cooked to an internal temperature of 125 degrees and should be allowed to rest from 15 to 20 minutes after cooking to allow the meat's juices to redistribute.

Someone should rotisserie a whole chicken for about an hour. Chicken should cook under low heat for a longer time for it to taste good.
You can find a rotisserie at Lowes, WalMart, Target, or Amazon. We did a lot of research and ended up buying ours from Lowes last year and we use it all the time.
