Like almost everything, carbs are not bad if consumed in moderation. Carbs are responsible for providing you with energy, so completely eliminating them will be bad. Carbs that come from junk food are bad, but there are other carbs that are beneficial to you.
Foods that tend to be high in fat are sugary foods (cakes, pastries, sweets, candies, ice cream, ect.). Peanut butter and nuts are high in fat, but it is "healthy" fat, if you can call it that, as it is natural and your body needs it. Foods high in carbs are wheat, pasta, bread, cereal, oatmeal, and most grain products. Foods high in un-healthy fat and carbs and things like too much cake, cookies, pastries, or sweets, fried foods, and fast food.
some foods high in carbs such as cakes and french fries, are not considered to be concentrated sources of carbs because they are also concentrated sources of calories and fat.
Generally, low carb foods are good but carbs are still necessary for energy. Try to limit the amount of carb intake and balance it with healthy carbs such as brown rice and beans.
