Ok, here's the basics-
Doctors answer: The FDA suggested amount for an average 15 year old female is 2500 calories per day, and 2800 for males. Keep in mind, they do not mean 2500 fat calories from 16 bags of potatoe chips, but rather a balanced, healthy diet. If you are as active as you described, you should add calories, depending on how active. You're probably burning 300-600 calories per day depending on how much cardio activity you do, so add a number around that amount depending on your own judgment if you want to MAINTAIN your weight. If you want to LOSE weight, you'll need to burn more calories than you eat. For you, that would probably be around the calorie intake of a regular 15 year old, 2000-2500.
Practical answer: Although how doctors would tell you to lose weight is the safe and healthy way to lose weight, it's not exactly the quickest way. If your in a rush, or REALLY NEED to lose 15 pounds or more, you'll need to decrease your calorie intake by more. 1300-1500 will garuntee weight loss, but it's not easy to do after when you're used to eating 2500 calories every day. Work your way down, and be practical! Fruit, vegies, salad, Diet Soda: GOOD! French fries, dessert, candy, regular soda: BAD! If you really have trouble losing weight, try a dietary supplement. ONLY BUY THEM AT VITAMIN OR GROCERY STORES! NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER take ANY type of pill or "vitamin" from friends or people selling them on the street or at school. Many vitamins from stores you must be 18 to purchase, but there are some for teens that still work great. Always have a bottle of water with you, and chug, chug chug until you can't hold anymore. (you won't have to pee as much as you think, lol) Don't starve yourself unless your desperate, and even then, always eat something like fruit, and don't do it for very long.

Around 1200 to maintain a healthy weight
Around 1500 calories a dayI need more details to tell you more accurately. If your life style is quite sedentary and you simply walk to school then you should eat around 1500 calories a day and not over 50g of fat (if you're trying to lose weight or maintain your actual weight you should always look at how many grams of fat are in the food you eat. You should never eat anything that is above 12g of fat) If you're active or very active you should eat between 2000 and 2300 calories a day.
