I read an article that said the following.. women: If you are 5' tall you should weigh 100lbs for every inch over 5" add 5lbs Measure your writst if it is less than 6" subtract 10% from the weight you just calculated. If it is 6" it stays the same, if it is more than 6" add 10%. If you are totally inactive (no exercise) multiply the weight calculated by 11, If you exercise regularly (2-3 times a wk) multiply by 13, if you exercise 4-5 times per wk multiply it by 15, and if you exercise 6-7 times a wk multiply it by 18. That is the number of calories you should intake daily ex. 5'4 woman w/ 6" wrist= 120lbs, exercises 2-3times/ wk= 1560calories. To find out grams of fat multiply by .20 1560*.20= 312 1g of fat= 9calories 312/9= 35grams/day
2500-3500 calories per day
It depends on your metabolism and how many calories you're currently intaking, and how much weight you want to lose. Please visit the related links.
1,800 calories.
It depends on your height and weight. 2000 calories is probably close to your daily need though.
How many calories one burns at rest depends on what their basal (and/or resting) metabolic rate would be. BMR/RMR calculations depend on height, weight, lean muscle to fat ratios, fitness level, age, gender, etc. A female* who is 5'5, 125#, and 21 years of age has a BMR of approx. 1405.55 calories. *A male with the same stats: 1527.45 calories. A male** who is 6', 175#, and 21 years of age has a BMR of approx. 1927.85 calories. **A female with the same stats: 1655.95 calories.
1,200 to 1,600 calories, with healthy choices and exercise.
1000 calories
Between 1200 and 1400 calories daily depending on height. Metabolism slows with age. This means that at age 45, much less food can be eaten than when you were ten years younger. If you ate 1200 calories a day when you were 35 years old, you should be eating no more than 1000-1100 calories now. Most health gurus advise not to go below 1000 calories per day but to increase physical activity instead. Of course weight training, and the building of muscle mass, will help burn calories but the sad fact is that the older you get, the less you can eat.
what a bunch of bs
1st of all, why is a 22 yr old female only 99 lbs. unless your short. like me hehe :] 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)= # of calories you should intake per day.- This is for women 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)= # of calories you should intake per day.- This is for men. YOU: 655 + (4.35 x 99) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x 22)
1200 calories if you are really skinnybut if fat you need to eat 900 calories
An 14 years old Boy who is growing should have 2000-2300 calories per day, however if you are eating less you will not be so tall
