As a NJ driver here is what happend to us after driving on the 407 the week after Christmas 2010. We got the bill almost 2 months later on Feb 23, 2011.
We paid total CDN $9.70 , driving 16km (~10 miles ) and got nailed video toll charges ($3.60), trip and toll charges ($3.35), and account fee ($2.75).
Rate for the time we went on this highway is heavy rated 22.75 cents per km
Ridiculous! The NJ Turnpike is a deal compared to this ripoff highway in Ontario, Canada.
At least we give Ontario drivers the option to pay in cash if you have no transponder on the Garden State Parkway or NJ Turnpike!!!
