Big Foot came from St Louis, Missouri and specifically Hazelwood, Missouri a suburb of St Louis.

The earliest ones come from somewhere around before 1955. The myth of bigfoot was actually kinda of slowly built up. It started off as a not very well known myth among indigenous people then it became more and more famous from 1958 after a man found a big ape/man like footprint. Several other events also follow but there are too many unrecorded to say.

There is no "myth" of Bigfoot. Myths are used to explain thing, where as the Sasquatch is an unexplained phenomenon, the exact opposite of a myth.
