When matter is "distroyed" it is converted into energy. Example: fusion in the sun. The "lost" matter is converted into heat and radiation. All matter is made up of energy. So, energy is never lost or distroyed, on changed into another form of energy. Calories in food are converted by our bodies into electochemical energy. Does this help?

That's a great question.

This retiree from a lomg and rewarding education and career in the applied sciences has the answer.

Since energy is equivalent to mass by Einsteins' (E= MxC squared) if we could create Energy from nothing we could create Mass. The atheist's "Big Bang" "that resulted in the natural laws, SPACE the UNIVERSE and life and that is why a Supernatural Creator God was necessary, as The Bible clearly states. I learned the natural laws in college physics but the professors never deal with the supernatural implications based on the observed material universe..

Ask some physics teacher or atheist, "Where did the infinite amount of energy for the Big Bang which formed UNIVERSE come from?"

It is a fundamental that energy can neither be created or destroyed just changed from one form to another.

How can the inertia be destroyed?

Inertia can not be destroyed, because inertia is a form of energy and energy can not be created or destroyed it is changed into a different form of energy like light, heat, chemical, or physical energy.

What is the explanation for the principle of conservation of matter?

Matter cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be changed from one form to another. However, Einstein and other scientists have shown us that matter and energy are interchangeable. Matter is changed into energy in the sun and in other nuclear reactions, (E = mc2).

When energy is used it is?

Changed from one form to another - energy cannot be created or destroyed it can only be changed from one form to another.

What is the scientific rule that states energy can not be destroyed?

The Law of the Conservation of Energy. Stating it can be neither created or destroyed but changed from one form to another.

What does the law of convervation?

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. The energy just changed from one form to another for of energy.

Can mass be destroyed?

Mass is equivalent to energy. Neither can be destroyed or created, only changed from one form to another.

What is the law of coservatin energy?

Energy cannot be created or destroyed but merely changed from one form to another.

What are laws conservation of energy?

Energy cant be created or destroyed . The total energy in the universe is constant. The energy can be changed into one energy to another .

Who created chemical energy?

Nobody.Chemical energy was always there, but just humans now realise it. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can be changed from 1 form to the next.

Is there more or less energy when a compound is reduced?

Energy is neither created nor destroyed, but rather changed to other types of energy.

Can electricity be destroyed?

One of most basic laws of science is the Law of the Conservation of Energy. It states that energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another.
