Most colleges require either that ACT or the SAT for admission. Check with the specific schools that you wish to apply to to make sure of their requirements. Even if all they require is one test, i would still suggest taking both. You may do better on one that the other, as they are a little bit of different testing formats.
of course everyone in college have to take the sat test in able to past college.
U need to take either the SAT or ACT to get into a four year college. You only need to take what the highschool requires which is usually one or the other or sometimes both, and if the "reasoning test" is part of the SAT that they give then yes you do, however you do not need to take the SAT II which is for specialty areas.
You can submit scores from any of the following assessments: ACT, SAT, THEA, COMPASS, ASSET, ACCUPLACER, TAAS, or TAKS. If you want to go on after junior college, for example to university, you could benefit from doing the SAT test and if you do the SAT test you need a score of at least 1017, and at least 500 in math! Hope this helps, and i hope we both do well in junior college this year!
Th SAT measures how prepared you are for college.
If you arrive after the test has begun, you will not be able to take the SAT that day. You would need to contact College Board and reschedule for another testing date.
you dont need SAT for Hostos Community college

The ACT was first administered in the year 1959. It was made as a competitor to the SAT by Everett Franklin Lindquist.
The SAT Test (formerly Scholastic Aptitude Testand Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized test for college admissions. So an SAT score is the score you get in that test. The SAT measures literacy and writing skills that are needed for academic success in college. They state that the SAT assesses how well the test-takers analyze and solve problems... skills they (allegedly) learned in school that they will need in college.
No. The SAT test is a test that colleges use to determine your qualification for their school, hence making it useless to take once you are already enrolled in a college.
To get an admission into harvard, you need between 2100-2300 in the SAT test
The SAT is required by most universities in America. The sad facts about the SAT is that they are proven to assess one's intelligence or how they will perform at college (studies do prove this statement). However, to get into college, many universities do require that an applicant takes either the SAT or the ACT. Your answer, in short, you need to take the SAT (or ACT) if you would like to go to college.* *Please note, there are some institutions in which do not require an applicant to take a standardized test, but these institutitons are few.
