What will happen if the transformers working in parallel are not connected with regard to polarity?

when two transformer are connected in parallel condition, and the polarity of transformer are opposite to each other then a large circulating current flow through out the winding, therefore a very small current flow thro, the load .therefore lifespan of transformer will be reduced.

What type of electrolytic capacitor will be permanently damaged if connected to the incorrect polarity?

A polarized capacitor will be permanently damaged if connected to the incorrect polarity.

Why the polarity of transformer is important?

a polarity test is a test which use to check the polarity of tranformer.the rision of this test to running the two or more transformer in parallel.like bettry situation or to fin the terminals

What happen when the polarity of transformer reversed?

You cannot 'reverse' the polarity of a transformer -it is either wound with 'additive polarity' or 'subtractive polarity', and there's not much you can do about it! For a single transformer, its polarity doesn't really matter. But if you are going to parallel two transformers, then you must know the polarity of each transformer in order to avoid harmful circulating currents in their secondary windings.

How wattmeter is connected in circuit?

A wattmeter has two coils: a current coil and a voltage coil. The current coil is connected in series with the load, while the voltage coil is connected in parallel with the load (just in the same way an ammeter and a voltmeter are connected). The wattmeter's polarity markings must be observed while making these connections -if the wattmeter reads 'downscale' (backwards), then the connection to either one (but not both) of the coils must be reversed.

What is the aim of doing polarity test on the transformer?

Knowing the polarity of transformers is important if they are to be connected in parallel.

What would happen if two secondary winding were connected in parallel with the wrong polarity?

Quite simply, they supply electricity in addition to each other and each lead will be connected to the opposite polarity lead of the other winding... you have a short circuit. The transformer will rapidly get hot and if it has no thermal fuse, might start a fire or cause other damage.

Is Reverse polarity is when the ground and neutral are wired backwards?

If you are talking about an AC (alternating current) circuit, such as the house mains supply, "reverse polarity" usually means the "hot" and "neutral" wires from the supply have been connected to something the opposite way round to what they should be. If you are talking about a DC (direct current) circuit supplied by a battery, such as in a car, "reverse polarity" usually means the positive and negative leads from the battery have been connected to something the opposite way round to what they should be.

What will magnate attract?

Yes. If their polarity is the opposite

Why is polarity test done?

On the CT there will be a white dot that represents a polarity mark. This is used to connect to the correct polarity terminal on the device that the CT is connected to. Additional CT transformers must be connected to the recording or monitoring device using the same polarity as the first CT.

How the current and pressure coils of the wattmeer are connected in circuit to measure the power drawn by load?

The current coil is connected in series with the load. The voltage coil (the term, 'pressure coil' is rather archaic!) is connected in parallel with the load. The wattmeter's polarity markings must be taken into account, or the meter will read downscale (backwards).

How does a drawing of polarity water and the bond polarities make a major contribution to the overall molecular polarity look?

The polarity is a vector quantity. The resultant of the polarity of bonds determines the polarity of the molecule. In CO2 there is polarity between the two C-O but the polarity is equal and opposite in direction so CO2 doesn't have polarity. If the polarity of bonds is not cancelled then the polarity remains in the molecule.

What is opposite of posited?

The opposite polarity or charge is negative. The opposite of a numeral or balance is also negative, or deficient. The opposite of (being) positive would be unsure or uncertain.
