You would reverse rotation on a 3 phase motor to get it to run backwards. Say I fill up a tank truck from a lake. I turn on my generator. I run the motor in one direction. Then I drive the tank truck and the motor to a different location. Then I turn on my generator. I attach the hose to the motor on tank truck. I throw the switch to make the motor run backwards. I aim the hose at the fire in your house. Aren't you glad that I can make my 3 phase motor run backwards?
A tube connector is the standard fitting that goes on a tube or hose. A tube adapter fits to a tube or hose and enables it to connect to a fitting of a different size to its standard.
Yes, a pocket hose can be used to drain a water heater, provided it has the appropriate fittings to connect to the drain valve of the heater. However, the flow rate may be slower compared to a standard garden hose, depending on the diameter and length of the pocket hose. It's essential to ensure that the hose is rated for hot water and can handle the temperature without damage. Always take necessary safety precautions when draining a water heater.
To install a soaker hose, first lay it out in your garden or desired area, ensuring it snakes around plants for even watering. Connect one end of the hose to a water source, using a hose connector if necessary. Bury the hose just beneath the soil surface or lay it on top of the soil, covering it with mulch for better moisture retention. Finally, turn on the water and adjust the flow to allow for slow soaking, ensuring the soil is adequately moistened without pooling.
The patented pocket hose, called the Dap Hose was invented by the Dap Company.
In the 1999 Mercury Mystique, the transmission breather hose connects to the transmission case, typically located near the top of the transmission. This hose allows for the release of pressure and helps prevent moisture and contaminants from entering the transmission. Properly maintaining this connection is essential for optimal transmission performance and longevity.
A breather is something you put on your gas tank to let the fumes out. It is the hose coming out of your tank.
To disconnect the breather hose on a 2005 Triton 5.4, first, ensure the engine is cool and the ignition is off. Locate the breather hose connected to the valve cover; it may have a clamp or simply be a push-fit. If there's a clamp, use pliers to release it, then gently pull the hose off. If it's a push-fit, carefully twist and pull the hose to detach it from the connector.
It is a hose that connects from the air filter to valve cover that stops contamenents from staying in the engine.
It gets poked in the back, behind the valve cover, it doesn't connect to anything it just lets the oil breathe lol.
There is a hoose leading from the upper portion of the Crankcase (where piston and engines are,the upper visible part) to the intake manifold. remove the end that conects to the intake manifold and add it the filter breather, the other end just leave it open or connect a small hose. I recomend a pass by filter it s like a round filter that allows you to connect to hoses to it so you just put this filter in the middle of the hose to filter that air.
That would be the one that doesn't connect to the air cleaner. The one that connects to the air breather is the crankcase breather. Also, it's a valve cover not a manifold.
Not exactly sure on a 1985, Which motor? On the 1997 2.0 Liter its right in front. From the top find the upper radiator hose, just below is the connection between the transmission and the motor. On the front of the motor pointing into the transmission bell housing should be the crankshaft position sensor.
My 2000 Jaguar S-Type did that. As soon as I fixed the lower breather hose on the engine, it stopped doing it. i am assuming that the lack of air is making the engine suck harder. A way to find out, and I heard mine clearly, is to pop the hood and listen for a hissing. I said my lower breather hose but mine was actually my upper breather hose. It's just the lower breather hose is the most common problem in vacuum leaks in the 2000-2003 Jaguar S-Types
Crankcase breather tube.
That should be the crankcase breather tube.
To connect a hose to a sink, you can use a hose adapter that screws onto the faucet. Simply remove the aerator from the faucet, attach the hose adapter, and then connect the hose to the adapter. Make sure the connections are tight to prevent leaks.
