I suspect that this is an insult. "Knecht" in German is a Knight, but is often used in an insulting way to mean a yokel or low-life. "Barf" is not a German word...so it has been borrowed from American English and means "throw-up". The whole word really means a "vomitting yokel"...perhaps a drunken low-life.

Whatever it is, it is highly colloquial and very insulting.
