there is two bars on your head lights 1 on each end just pull them out then your whole head light will come out then you just twist the cap off and change the bulb takes less than two mins

Twist the socket 1/4 turn and pull out.
Open the trunk, remove the carpet lining and unscrew the black plugs and remove the burt out bulb.
If you mean the brake light, you just have to change the bulb or bulbs.
first you need to mark place on body by head lights take grill out ,next you will there is about 8 little bolts out come head lights in side rear of head lights are 3 lights dip side light main beam change bulb do/t put fingers on its glass it will fuse it put all items back in same order finished gene takes 1 hour

To change the trunk lid lights on a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII, first, open the trunk and locate the light assembly. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, then pull out the old bulb and replace it with a new one.
