I've got a 92 cabriolet. The a/c compressor is held in place by 4 bolts. Two bolts under the a/c are the pivot bolts. The other two are toward the front side of the unit, under the Power Steering reservoir. In fact if you pull the PS res. off its mount, you can get to the a/c adjustment bolts much easier. Generally they are 13mm or 14mm nuts and bolts. The bolts are in a track that is used to tighten the belt. Lift up on the compressor to tighten the belt. Push down on the compressor to loosen the belts. The adjustment bolts are between the compressor and the front sheet metal of the car, under the p/s res.
