To remove the tachometer from a Peugeot 306, first disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Then, carefully remove the dashboard trim surrounding the instrument cluster. Unscrew the screws securing the tachometer, gently pull it out, and disconnect the wiring harness from the back. Finally, reverse the process for reinstallation or replacement.
Remove the instrument panel cover. Remove the tachometer retaining screws. Remove the tachometer cable from the back of the tachometer. Reverse the process to install the new tachometer.
There is a fuse for the tachometer in this model. Under the hood on the driver's side there will be a fuse box,Êopen this box and it will show the layout for all fuses.

The thermostat for the cooling system can be found on the front of the engine. You can follow the bottom radiator hose to the thermostat housing. The thermostat will be within the thermostat housing.
