The three French car companies

Three French car companies include: Renault, Peugeot and Citröen.

Note: Peugeot and Citroën belong to the fusioned company named PSA.

Bugatti started in France, but it was founded by an Italian, (Ettore Bugatti). It then went out of business but was revived by another Italian, and then sold to the Germans.

It may be argued that Bugatti is French, but think of it like this: If you open a Chinese restaurant in Canada, does the food there become Canadian? Of course not. It is titled Chinese and regardless of where it is, it will be Chinese.
The three French car companies are Citroen, Peugeot, and Renault.
