For a Volkswagen Golf GTI, the recommended engine oil is typically a high-quality synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-30 or 0W-40, depending on the specific engine and climate conditions. Always refer to the owner’s manual or consult with a dealership for the exact specifications, as they may vary based on the model year and engine type. It's important to choose oil that meets VW's specifications, such as VW 502 00 or VW 504 00, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
yes you can!!
Take the old one out and put a new one in.

10W40 or 15W40 semi-synthethic
Twist and pull. It was easy in my MK5 TSI but you have the FSI. Pull off the engine cover. If needed you may need an oil wrench to pull it off. But make sure when you put it back on you only hand twist it.
Depending on what you are looking to accomplish, there are many different oils you can use. Valvoline 5W40 synthetic, mobile 1 synthetic, 5w40 Castrol synthetic are all good choices.
I had the same problem looking for mine on a 205 1.6 GTi. You put the oil in where the breather cap is. It's a black plactic circular thing with two pies coming off it. The whole thing unscrews - pop your oil in there :)
sounds like you've put it down in the bell housing. So when you put your engine under load the clutch is just slipping. Best thing put a new clutch in and clean the fly wheel and the bellhousing with a de greasent meths or something like that.
Depending on what engine you have, it differs. A MKV 2.0T FSI/TSI uses 5W-40 or 0W-40, always make sure to use oil that meets VW's 500.02 standard. In many areas, you'll want to buy your oil from the dealership parts department (It's actually cheaper than most auto parts stores).
go on comma oil web page and put in your registration and it will forward you to all lubricants and spec.
A Volkswagen Golf Mark 3 N Reg should take 15w40 oil if the oil is mineral. If synthetic oil is preferred, a weight of 10w40 is fine.
you can't as the relay needs to be there to put the right amount of fuel through at the right time, buy another fuel relay.
