Mopar ATF+3 or Mopar ATF+4
There is only one type, ATF fluid. It's a universal fluid... You can buy Toyota ATF fluid from any auto online store (like www.toyotapartstore.com) or just buy Supertech ATF, Prestone ATF, they all do the same job. There are several grades but generally one superceeds another so you can't go far wrong. I've used both Toyota ATF and SuperTech ATF. This time, it's the Prestone ATF.
The low coolant level sensor is faulty. If you check ebay, there is a repair service. Pez
I added atf fluid right down the dip stick tube. be sure to add very small amounts at a time and keep checking the fluid level as you go.
The automatic transmission uses ATF+4
If an auto, check for stamping on the dipstick. They probably were using ATF+4 by then. By certain on the correct fluid as ATF+3 is different than ATF+4. ATF+4 is a synthetic. Dan the tranny man. THE OWNERS MANUAL SAYS DEXTRON III BUT CHRYSLER RECOMMENDS ATF +4 NOW IT IS FROM THE DEALER AT ABOUT $4.00 A QUART YOU CAN USE IT IN THE TRANSFER CASE TOO
Because a 2004 Saab is a GM car, use GM-approved ATF. If I had a car that new, I'd go to a Chevy dealership for ATF.
Drive the car for about 15 minutes to heat (and thus expand) the automatic transmission fluid (ATF), then park the car on level ground, but leave it running. Remove the ATF dipstick and check the level. You need to keep the engine and transmission running and warm when you're checking the ATF level because the fluid level mark on the ATF dipstick is calibrated for a warm, running condition, and because a significant amount of ATF will be in the torque converter only while the engine is running. If you measure ATF level while the engine isn't running, you'll get an inaccurately high reading because the ATF will drain out of the torque converter and go into the transmission pan, which is where the tip of the dipstick is located.
Well...you can either use the recommended ATF (Hyundai SPIII) or you can substitute it for Amsoil Synthetic ATF http://www.amsoil.com/catalog.aspx?code=ATFQT-EA <-- Amsoil ATF For 2001 Hyundai Tiburon for Hyundai SPIII, Go to a Hyundai Dealer.
Oh, dude, for a 1999 Nissan Quest, you'll want to use Dexron III/Mercon automatic transmission fluid. It's like the go-to fluid for a lot of older vehicles, so you should be good to go with that. Just make sure you check your owner's manual to be extra sure.
Either the fuel tank or the windscreen washer receptical. Either way, depends what you want as a result!!!
