Oh, dude, the transmission dipstick for a 1988 Mazda MX6 is typically located near the back of the engine bay, close to the firewall. It's usually a bright color like yellow or red because apparently, they want you to find it or something. Just look for a long, skinny stick that's probably covered in oily gunk – that's your ticket to checking your Transmission Fluid levels.
