The starter kill wire is blue and red and is located in the ignition switch harness on the 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. The wire can be disconnected at the harness or at the starter itself.Ê

It's slightly to the left of the battery, and deep. If you look at the battery connectors/cables you will see that the positive one (red) has an extra wire that is thinner than the main one, follow it down and it should be connected to the starter/syllanoid.
Starter solenoid? Jump the trigger wire (small) and the cable that runs to the starter
Are you referring to the battery wire that goes to the starter? If so replace the wire. By disconnecting it and follow wire to the starter and replace. Reconnect battery and your done.
Drivers side of the radiator, down towards the bottom. It will have a three wire plug on the end.
you start by taking out the 2 bolts the hold the starter in,, then disconnect the wires and replace starter..er i mean disconnect wires first or one bolt then one wire then the other bold AND OTHER WIRE
Disconnect your battery, then remove the two nuts from the starter wire harness. Pull the wire and cable of the studs. Remove starter bolts and slide starter out of bellhosing.
The wire from the battery to the starter does not include a fuse.
You have to remove the starter and run a new wire
remove 13 mm nut connecting positive to starter motor, unclip smaller wire next to it, remove the three (3) bolts attaching starter motor to engine housing...that's how i just removed mine 5 minutes ago
Lower front of the engine, accessed from below. Follow a rather large gauge wire leading down to the starter. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery before removing the starter. Disconnect connected wires, remove 2 mounting bolts.
You have a ground wire that isn't grounded causing a shortage therefore blowing the fuse....I would start with the ground wire that is connected directly to the starter itself
