No it wont
sounds like just a blown fuse. get you owners manaual out and find the listings for the fuses.
Blown fuse.
the wireing could have gone bad or the fuse could have blown i would check the fuse first
its probably a blown fuse or relay
it is something beside a fuse,it would not work at all with a blown fuse
Yes it may I have a 99 Tahoe and I pulled a fuse ( at this time I don't remember which one it was) an it would not start. I recommend that you check them out.
If it both windows at the same time, it is likely to be a fuse related to the windows. Check you manual and/or fuse box for blown fuse and replace.
Try looking at the fuse that corresponds to the things that are not working. Take the actual fuse out of the fuse box, and look at it, examine it. You will be able to tell immediately if the fuse is blown or not by the way it looks. If it is blown it will have some gray matter or black in there.....or the fuse will look messed up, or both. Good luck to ye!
If they both give up at the same time you may have blown a fuse or a loose wire on the switch.
Pull it out an look at it. Most of the time you can easily see it is blown. If not check it with an ohm meter.
If you can observe the fusible link it should be open and there should be some charring on the glass. Use an Ohm meter to confirm fuse is blown. If it is zero ohms across the fuse it is not blown.
The easiest way is to pull every fuse out one a time and check it ( see if it has blown ) replacing it if it blown or reinstalling it if its ok. go look
