For starters, fish don't sleep in general. Fish go into a resting period and usually that has to do with the place the sun is in or if it is a fish in a tank, whether the lights are off or on.
Secondly, some fish move all day and night to keep away from predators and to insure water is passing over there gills. A fish will move while resting, when they do they are moving slowly and lower in the tank. If you have a few small fish they will follow each other and wake each other up. (Hardy fish are the best ones).
Lastly, fish are great pets for people who are half commited pet owners!

Yes, discus fish sleep. They are diurnal, meaning they are most active during the day and sleep at night. It's important for their overall health and well-being to have a regular day-night cycle that includes restful periods of sleep.
yes scince jelly fish never sleep
haha good question....I have a fish myself and he seems to never sleep! But every now and then I will catch him in the corner of his tank moving back and forth slightly but remains in the same spot, this means that they are sleeping. Fish are never completley still when they sleep, and never close their eyes (if they even have eyelids....D: ) hahaha this is just a survival technique for them.....hope this helped :)
