no, the alcohol will kill anything that would otherwise grow. I have found that a container used with a vacuum sealer with greatly reduce the absorption time. I actually apply the vacuum for 1 week release it for 24 hours then pull a 2nd vacuum for another week. Then it can safely be stored on the bar for easy access. leave it in the everclear until it is served.
