Well that is a misconception because bananas rippen based on the amout of ethlyene gas present; usually not based on temperature. So if you don't want your bananas to rippen fast than keep them away from each other because fruits make their own ethlyene gas. That is where the saying "one bad apple spoils the bunch" comes from.

The reason why cheese molds so fast is that it must always stay in the fridge. If not in fridge after taking one, the cheese will start to rot. After the "rot process," it starts to get dirty shortly after. The uncleanliness is how it gets moldy quicker than you think
I would say a banana rots faster. Banana's get bruised very easily specially after they've been in your bag all day and oranges well I'm sure Ive found one in my bedroom from ages ago still intact, so I'm pretty sure that banana's rot first x
