lemon & oranges are acidic in nature b/c when they dissolve in water they give hydrogen ion
The sour taste of grapefruit primarily comes from citric acid, a type of organic acid found in various citrus fruits. Citric acid contributes to the tart flavor profile of grapefruit, along with other compounds like ascorbic acid (vitamin C). These acids stimulate the taste buds and create the characteristic sourness that many people associate with grapefruit.
Kill you if you take a specific prescription drug read bottle labels!!! it can taste sour, sweet, etc
it depends on how well your tongue takes in food. Lemons have more acid in them, so most of the time a persons tongue reacts as if the lemon is more sour than something like grapefruit.
