meat, fish, and poultry give you protein, which you need to live (eggs also have protein). meat, fish, and poultry also have trace elements that are also necessary to survival, fish as specially; fish is brain food (literaly). if your body doesnt get protein aside from eventualy perishing your hair will also fall out. but there are suplements for protein for vegterians. as for the trace elements you can get most of them from perslane, a plant, but look it up befor using it.
