The most famous king is king Henry 8th.
She died giving birth to Edward VI, Henry VIII's son.
King Henry VIII. Her mother was Queen Anne Boleyn.
Queen Elizabeth I's parents were King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Her siblings technically would be Henry Fitzroy(bastard of Bessie Blount), Mary Tudor (daughter of Kathrine of Aragon), Edward Tudor (Son of Jane Seymour). Otherwise there is rumored two children by Mary Boleyn that would be considered Elizabeth's siblings. And Henry slept around so there are many more, along with the many stillborn babies he fathered.
He married Anne of Cleves for diplomacy reasons.
Yes, to Catherine Parr.
Excuse me, but this is King Henry the 8th, and a monk he was not. So we all know that there is no way his majesty left her a virigin because henry was after all a king and slept with anything in a dress or skirt or whatever so yes he did sleep with Anne of Cleeves. He slept with all his wives. It's a fact.
they were catholic just like henry
No.
Yes. She was very fond of then.
Edward, Margaret, Beatrice, Edmund, Richard, John, Katherine, William and Henry.
because you wouldnt have any male children
King Henry 8th had one son, Henry Flitzroy. Henry the 8th chose Flitzroy as his heir. However, Flitzroy died at age 17. So Flitzroy does not have any children and wife.
Anne of Cleves and the last Catherine, Catherine Parr... Some like Anne Boleyn died directly because of Henry, and others like Jane Seymour died not directly because of Henry (like she died having a baby).
No. She remarried after he died, and then became pregnant, but died in childbirth.
After the death of his third wife, Jane Seymour, Henry VIII (1491 - 1547) was eventually persuaded to marry again, but this fourth wife, Anne of Cleves (1515 - 1557) was chosen via a portrait Henry had commissioned from Hans Holbein. When he saw her in the flesh, on New Year's Day 1540, he was extremely unhappy with her appearance (apparently he called her "the Flanders Mare"). Although he went ahead and married Anne on 6 January 1540, Henry refused to consummate the marriage, so eventually this was annulled nearly 5 months later. Obviously, because of this situation, Anne of Cleves and Henry VIII did not produce children. But at least Anne was "paid off" and did not lose her head. She received a generous divorce settlement and remained on good terms with the king. Anne died in 1557, with declining health.
