your character figures this out just before completen the game. then you defeat dialga and get turned back into a human for a while (not playable as a human) then you transform back into a Pokemon again.

I was a skitty and when i defeated a Pokemon, it said...lets use skourpi as an exaple... it said skourpi would like to join your team and then it'll ask yes or no...if no then the Pokemon dissapears..if yes the Pokemon either gos to the guild place if team is full...if not then the Pokemon will follow you with a yellow ring underneath it...i hope this helped and aka im 11 really i am
