Yes, "Torrential Tribute" will destroy "Spirit Reaper". The effect of "Spirit Reaper" states that it cannot be destroyed in battle. "Torrential Tribute" destroys all monsters on the field and has nothing to do with battle.
The monster who battles with the monster equipped with Rainbow Veil, has its effect negated. So if a monster equipped with Rainbow Veil battles a Spirit Reaper, Spirit Reaper's continuous effect will be negated, it can be destroyed by battle.
Face-down monsters cannot activate unless they specifically say they can - Big Shield Gardna and Mid Shield Gardna are about the only two monsters that do. Spirit Reaper has three effects - it is actually impossible for it to try to apply its protective effect and its discard trigger while face down (as it is flipped before Damage Calculation, so will always protect itself from battle, and must be face-up to be attacking), however it may freely be targetted while face down and it will not destroy itself, even if it ends up being flipped by that effect, such as through Book of Taiyou.
not necessarily you see the other word that means soul reaper is shinigami which also means death god which would lead to think they are the grim reaper but they are sort of angels because once they find you they use a konso and help you transcend into the spirit world
There were two "spirit bunnies" as you call them. The "good guy spirit bunny"'s name was Elil-hrair-rah, or El-ahrairah, who was based on the African American hero Brer Rabbit. The stories of Brer Rabbit were alluded to in the end of Ch. 48, when Dr. Adams (probably an allusion to the author himself Richard Adams) was reassuring Lucy that Hazel, the main character, will survive his being beaten up after Dr. Adams heals Hazel. El-ahrairah is a folk tale told among the rabbits, rather like a creation story and the cunning of rabbits and how great was El-ahrairah. The "bad guy spirit bunny"'s name was The Black Rabbit of Inle, who was based on the Grim Reaper. Bigwig and Hazel think that Holly, when he comes to join their warren, is the Black Rabbit, because he yells, "Zorn!" which means destroy(ed). El-ahrairah wants to make a deal with the Black Rabbit, but he fails.
You could mean Sauron, who is a Maia spirit, and servant to Morgoth, who turned Sauron from a Balrog into humanoid in an attempt to destroy all of mankind. Or you could mean Morgoth himself, who is a valar spirit, and the greatest evil force in the LOTR universe, directly responsible for all evil creatures in middle earth, and fully accountable for every innocent death in LOTR history.
Hyper hammerheads effect has to resolve before spirit reapers effect would destroy itself. So spirit reaper will be returned to your hand by hammerheads effect and your reaper will not be destroyed.
Depends what you mean by 'work' - work properly or work to destroy it? Spirit Reaper is only destroyed after the targeting effect resolves, and if Spirit Reaper is still face-up on the field. After Interdimensional Matter Transporter resolves, Spirit Reaper will be in the removed from play zone. So Spirit Reaper will not be destroyed, even when returned to play.
Both of Enemy Controller's effects target, so Spirit Reaper will die after it resolves. Book of Moon targets, but Spirit Reaper doesn't destroy itself until after the targeting effect resolves. However in this case, it will now be face down, and its self destruction effect will not apply.
Yes. Monster Reborn doesn't target it while it is on the field. It will summon it and it will be fine, it will not destroy itself.
Lady in Wight's only graveyard effect is to change its name, assumedly Lady in Wight is in play and not in the graveyard. Her protective effect only lasts as long as she remains face-up on the field. As per Lady in Wight's text, Spirit Reaper can't be destroyed by Spell or Trap effects, but, monster effects can still destroy it. If a spell or trap targets Spirit Reaper that will make it destroy itself by its own effect.
Swords of Revealing light is not a card that targets, so Spirit Reaper will absolutely not be destroyed by it, even if it is face up. While face-down, Spirit Reaper can be targeted, and it will not be destroyed.
spirit Reaper
nope only super rare
== Okay so my opponent summoned Dark Dust Spirit while I had 3 Harpie Lady's on the field. Can I use Icarus Attack to destroy Dark Dust Spirit or does his effect stop me from doing that? == "Icarus Attack" can be chained to the activation of "Dark Dust Spirit"'s effect and you tribute one of your "Harpie Lady" cards or another Winged-Beast. When the chain resolves, you can destroy "Dark Dust Spirit", but its effect will still work and destroy all face-up monsters on the field.
It requires 1 tribute
