How do you get Jirachi in Pokemon Emerald version?

All the special events have long since passed but here are three ways to get him:

1. Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc. You do need a GameCube and a special adapter cable for this. There are step-by-step ways to use this method but I’m afraid I’ll go over my character limit if I say it here.

2. For Australia and Europe, you can use the Pokemon Channel. This also requires a GameCube and adapter cable, and once again there is a longer step-by-step guide on the internet.

3. This last one is dishonest but technically it is a way to get Jirachi in an old game… Pro Action Replay. Basically, cheat. Enter the Jirachi code in the Replay, empty your entire party (except for one pokemon that you’re required to keep on the team), press L + R, and you’ll get a level 5 Jirachi on your team. And you can do this as many times as you want.

Unfortunately, Jirachi is an event pokemon, like mew and celebi, meaning that it cannot be obtained without going to a gamefreak event or without cheating (via GameShark or action replay).

This means that you cannot encounter jirachi in-game.

Though there was once a rumor that jirachi could be received by going to the space center and launching the rocket 56 times, the test of time has proved this false.

First, you have to get 2 pokemon. You need a Roselia and a Magneton that has the SPECIAL ABILITY of MAGNET PULL. Put Roselia in front of your party and Magneton at the last. Then go to the white rock by the SPACE STATION in MOSSDEEP. Push it and a key will appear. Then go to the back of the space station and insert key. Inside is full of Deoxys.
