If you want your Pokemon to have pokerus, you first have to have a Pokemon that already has pokerus. You then battle alot with the Pokemon that has pokerus. To get your other Pokemon to have it, you have to have the Pokemon you want to have pokerus be in your party with the Pokemon with pokerus for it to work. Otherwise, catch alot of Pokemon. Then battle with it, make it stronger and it may get pokerus later on. I SWEAR IT WILL WORK I CAUGHT A MURKROW ONCE,TRAINED IT ALOT, AND WALKED INTO THE POKEMON CENTER AND THE NURSE EVEN SAID, "Your Pokemon may be dignosed with the pokerus and is stronger than it is supposed to be, and grows at an enormous level," PS: THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOUR POKEMON WILL GROW STRONGER THAN LEVEL 100. Also, there is a 1 of 3 chance your other Pokemon will catch pokerus. If it doesn't work the first time, try it on other Pokemon. I just remembered if you put your Pokemon in PC boxes or something other THAN YOUR PARTY, it will have pokerus forever. If you want your Pokemon to keep pokerus and use it, mark my words- to keep it's pokerus, only take it to the Pokemon center when it is absolutely necessary.

∙ 9y agoGetting the Pokerus virus is very simple. First you need to fight a wild Pokémon with the virus itself. This is very rare, about a 1 in 21,845 chance; you're much more likely to find a shiny Pokémon than a Pokémon with the virus. There is a chance for a newly hatched Pokémon to have the virus, but it's the same chance as finding it in the wild. Alternately, you can trade for a Pokémon that already has the Pokerus and let the traded Pokémon sit in your team to spread it to the Pokémon you want to have it. Pokerus fades away after a certain time in your team but doesn't leave your PC.

∙ 13y agoTo get the Pokérus, your Pokémon needs to engage in a battle a wild Pokémon that holds the Pokérus. You will be alerted if you have the Pokérus in your party when you next visit the Pokémon center.
Then you try to spread it to all of your pokemon, so that they can reap the benefits.

∙ 12y agosimple. battle a wild Pokemon and pray it has the pokerus (you wont know for sure if it has it and its even rarer than a shiny Pokemon). make sure you use a physical move that makes contact or else it wont catch the virus. Or you can use the action rapley code:

Hold A at end of a battle to infect your team. It also works when catching the Pokemon.
Do nothing but keep doing what you do. Go through grass trying to find new Pokemon, and eventually, you'll come across one (yeah, in a thousand years!)

∙ 12y agoA Pokemon can develop pokerus after being healed at the poke center lots of times. You can also catch a Pokemon in the wild with pokerus, but this is very rare.
