What do you do when mr Pokemon says he doesn't know who the kimono girls are and won't give you the red orb?

First of all you get the orb (red or blue) from professor oak in pallet town once you beat red. I think Mr. Pokemon is just a bit nervous to talk about the Kimono girls or maybe he really doesn't know them. Do you have the kyogre from embedded tower?

To get Ho-Oh in Pokemon HeartGold, beat the eighth Gym Leader, Claire, who is a Dragon-type trainer. Then, go to New Bark Town and talk to Professor Elm. He will tell you the Kimono Girls want to see you in Ecruteak City. Go to Ecruteak City and go to the Ecruteak Dance Theater. You will meet the five Kimono Girls, who will battle you one-by-one (they have Vaporeon, Jolteon, Umbreon, Flareon, Espeon, not in that order, I think). After battling all five, the Kimono Girls will give you the Clear Bell (the second item needed to summon Ho-Oh, the other is the Rainbow Wing, which you should have already). Then, the building will shake and the Kimono Girl's little sister will tell them to go to the Bell Tower. The Kimono Girls will leave. Go to the Bell Tower, make your way to the top (its easy once you figure it out), and you will see the five Kimono Girls there. They will use your Rainbow Wing and Clear Bell to summon Ho-Oh, and you will have the opportunity to battle it. I recommend saving the Master Ball Professor Elm gives you when you talk to him (forgot to mention that) for catching Ho-Oh, which is pretty much the reason he gives it to you.
