Her most famous novel is 'Jane Eyre'. But Charlotte wrote a total of 23 books including: Villette, Shirley, The Professor and Joseph and His Brothers.

Charlotte also wrote a novel called 'Emma Brown' but it was left incomplete when she died in 1855 finishing only 2 chapters (20 pages). However, Clare Boylan has finished this novel, using two characters from Brontë's original chapters, and had it published in 2003.

Anne Bronte was the youngest member of her notably literary family. She published two of her own novels (Agnes Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall) and also contributed poems to the book of poetry that she and her sisters had published in 1845.
